Penn Medicine’s Dr. Erica Thaler describes one day in her daily life.
Although Dr. Thaler can see patients with many problems Her specialization is rhinology, or problems that concern the nose or sinuses. Many of the procedures performed by her are sinus procedures. A nose, ear and throat surgeon may possess additional experience in certain areas such as pediatrics , for instance. treatment of the thyroid glands. She saw a large number of patients suffering from sleep apnea and came up with a new approach to treat them with robots and electronic implants
Some ENTs have multiple rooms in their practice. To ensure superior care for each person I would suggest Dr. Thaler prefers one room. As she deals with sleep apnea sufferers, Dr. Thaler says how surprised she was by how addressing patients’ sleep apnea had a profound impact on their life. Though ENTs could be different in their specialties, their focus will be upon the needs of patients.
The Dr. Thaler believes that the best thing about her job is the interactions she has with patients and her coworkers. ENTs need to work with a team and be able to listen. 3kecg7wgmv.
